The tropical nature of the Province, with its evergreen rain forest vegetation and rugged mountain ranges, the imposing volcanoes which surround the town of Rabaul and the beautiful Simpson Harbor, as well as the friendliness of the local people, have made East New Britain as attractive and adventurous holiday destination.
The climate consists of two main seasons, the wet, November to April, and dry, May to October: seasons with high humidity which can be inviting for people who want to escape from the cold and harsh winter of North America, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
East New Britain have become the home to the many different birds and animals which accents the province’s physical beauty and make the province an attractive, adventurous, and interesting to visit.
